Who's up for a Sunday that beats the usual routine? Lace up those boots for a delightful 6-mile walk through the Slad and Painswick Valleys. It's more than just a walk – it's an opportunity to meet a friendly bunch of like-minded people, enjoy one of the finest valleys in Stroud and tuck into a scrumptious roast lunch at the Butchers Arms. 🍽️🥩

🕚 Meet Up: 11 am outside The Butchers Arms, Sheepscombe.

🍽️ Roast: 2 pm - Tuck into a delicious Sunday roast at The Butchers Arms.

🍹 Drink Option: Join us for the walk and enjoy a drink before the meal, then feel free to leave whenever you like!

The Plan:

At 11 am, we'll gather at The Butchers Arms for introductions before we set off.  We'll take a fabulous 6-mile walk through the picturesque Painswick and Slad Valleys, enjoying the gorgeous scenery and charm of what is probably Stroud's most famous Valley. After we've filled our lungs with fresh Cotswolds air, we'll head back to The Butchers Arms, a cosy spot that's perfect for winding down. Here’s what awaits:

Sunday Roast: Satisfy your well-earned hunger with the classics, lovingly prepared, complete with all the trimmings and a hearty vegetarian option.

Drink Option: For those who'd prefer not to eat, join us for a drink and enjoy the company.

Here's the Nitty Gritty:

Cost for Roast: A £22.50 per head deposit secures your spot, with the balance payable on the day, depending on your meal of choice. 

Cost of Drink Only: £12.50 per head for participation in the walk, please note, drinks must be purchased separately.

Pre-Order: We're all for spontaneity, but let's not keep the kitchen guessing! Please let us know your choice of roast (Beef, Chicken, Pork or Nut Roast) when you buy your ticket.
